I am one of the very few success stories because I did my research after I signed the 22 page (not sure exactly how many pages but it was on their iPad and very long ). I placed an order and specifically picked a carpet that was in stock. I asked to reschedule installation due to a unforeseen work conflict (coworkers have covid and I had to work) I was told no I must be there or pay $250 to reschedule. I kept the original install date and within 24 hours of install NFD called to change my installation date because they don't have the materials that I was told were in stock when I ordered. National Floors Direct is good at enticing you by bragging about good prices then the salesman comes in quotes a price much higher than expected with room to haggle, secondly the product is garbage, there's a hole in my floating floor and when I called I was 5 days out of the warranty, so I had to sign a release. When the repair guys came they said I needed more material. I then get a call and was advised I'd have to pay an additional $400 to get them to fix the floor for additional materials! If I could rate this a 0 star, I would. National Floors Direct has not delivered a product as promised. They cancelled my appts twice after I set aside personal time to be home for them. When installers arrived, the carpet was not the correct carpet, it was not what I purchased. It was a very low grade carpet, I ordered plush. The installers didn't have enough padding, they attempted to cut out and puzzle together padding. They told me they didn't know when they could come back again, my subfloors are now exposed and I have ... read more
The sales rep lied to us about the number of installers, lied and said the installers are part of their company when they were subbed out, lied about what they were going to install, and when the installers damaged the fan blades on my ceiling fan, said they were not going to replace them.
Do nor use this company. Nothing is right. Sent in pictures, still waiting for redo on unfinished floors and half rounds that go on floors and against molding. Waiting to hear back if they will finish job. Laundry room not finished left old broken cabinets from outside.dumbster from another apartment to cover back of washer and dryer. Never told me they didn't finish laundry room. Left me with broken cabinets to clean, throw out . Found out when I cleaned after they left. Put down ****** deposit, to get better price. This company have gave me the run around, and did not return my calls until after the third day right of rescission.
If I could rate them 0 I would. their sales people **** and don't know what they are selling and don't tell you anything important that you would need to know before you buy; especially if you are changing only some floors. I had no idea that the flooring I bought would give me a 2 inch step in transition, creating a major trip hazard. Their customer service people **** and all they can tell you is that they basically don't care and that it was in your contract - because you know we all have time to read that whole contract ... read more
