If I could give them zero stars I would, but I have to settle for one. I would never recommend National Floors Direct to anyone! They spam your email and call you with all of THEIR requirements and needs of how the set up needs to be for their convenience and how they wait for NO ONE and all these extras fees you'll rack up if you don't comply with accommodating THEM, yet they don't bother showing up or calling. Had I saw the reviews on BBB first, I would of not hired these people. First the installers come without any masks on, and knew they need to pull the tile from the kitchen area. The sales guy advised that they would cover the stuff in the kitchen, and they didn't. If you call the 917 area code number, and push the option for today's installation, you may get someone who told me her name is Cindy. She is unprofessional, and probably was hired from the streets. We had issues from the start with this company. They advertise there is next day installation or it’s free. That is not true because it took 6 days for our installation because the material needed to be ordered from Georgia. Then there was a delay. I was told this was unforeseen circumstances and did not qualify as a reason for us to get money off or free installation. The installation was horrible! The cut our carpet into small pieces and told us that was how it had to be!!
We paid $7,000 to have floors installed at our residence. We paid extra to have the installers move our furniture. We recently had our house painted which required the furniture to be moved. This is when we started noticing all the flaws and mistakes. We actually have floor separating from the wall where you can actually see underneath to the bare floor. I would not recommend them to anybody. My wife and I are retired we had a carpet for 22 years in our downstairs room and never had a problem. The carpet that they installed a little over a year ago is bubbling and pulling up all over and when I called them they said sorry there’s nothing we can do it’s over a year. It’s barely over a year a carpet should not be bubbling and pulling up when there’s no traffic and there’s two people in their late 60s living here I could never recommend this company
National Floors Direct ARE Scammers. The Sales guy was very clear to mislead/lie to me and tricked me into signing a contract based on when he said I could finish paying on my down payment. He made a call in front of me and they got back to him and apparently said that I could finish making the rest of the down payment a few months out. National Floors Direct are Scammers do not go with this company. They advertise that they will meet the same Quote as their competitors they DO NOT. When you try to reach them on the telephone they play games and put you on hold and hangup, tell you they will call you back and don't or simply ignore your call. Our salesman was not honest in his presentation and misrepresented a lot of information, including how easy it is to get their price guarantee. It is in fact extremely difficult to get them to do anything for you once they have cashed your deposit. I wish i never spoke to them at all. I was quoted a better material for less money but their price match does not include anything about that.
