Recently ******* husband decided to get hardwood floors in our house. We interviewed & few companies but the salesperson from National Floors was very persistent & the deal that was offered was very good. We explained to salesperson that our house was on a slab and needed appropriate flooring for that. ************************, said no problem. National Floors Direct, Inc. gave me a e-document contract to complete, after I completed it, the salesman asked me to sign and date it, he then proceeded to insert a clause (without my knowledge - I assumed when he asked to to get my check and driver's license) saying I had waived my right to a three day cancellation because I had a "flooring emergency". This about National Floors This is the second time I have contacted your company about this carpet. The day or two after installation I called but I was told nothing could be done. If you don't stand behind your product I made a bad decision. If you guys say the same thing just send me some of the samples of the carpet I purchased and I will try to do it myself. I have also had a bad experience with NFD. I saw a complaint recently stating they had 'strong arm' tactics. This was also my experience and I was unable to get the Sales Manager, or **************** Manager to appreciate that their Sales Rep more or less trapped me into a contract. I have expressed to them in detail how bad a business model and practice took place to no avail. Actually, ZERO stars. This was, from start to finish, one of the worst customer service experiences ever. We were continually mis-led or downright lied to. ******** was extremely high-pressure, but we were promised that the project would be completed in one day, as this was an emergency. Turns out his measurements were incorrect and the project could not be completed in one day. The salesman came an measured Floors, he said there were spots that needed to be leveled. Okay he did his job. The workers came in an started working. There was no leveling at all in the low spots! There laying the floor down and come near the door frames an are cutting the moulding around the door frames . We'll they cut them too high an now it looks horrible.
