On March 25, 2023, we bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress from ***************************** at The Dump in ****** *****. After delivery, we realized we ordered a CalKing instead of a KING size mattress. The Dump in Lombard – we had a pleasant shopping experience. Jim in the carpet area was extremely helpful and patient. He guided and gave us suggestions; the suggestions and conversations were helpful and our finally we decided on two carpets and we have been extremely pleased. Several months later our one carpet became stained and needed cleaning. We purchased the carpet warranty. We were totally unsatisfied with the warranty service. We most recently shopped for rugs at The Dump. We were thrilled with the product and prices, but blown away by the level of customer service!! Roger ******** is the one to seek out for offering his time and expertise in selecting rugs for your home. You will be totally satisfied, it is now the only place we will shop!!
I am so disappointed in the customer service. The furniture they sent me was defective and I called the customer service and texted them regarding the issue. We included photos of the defective items. The customer service agent communicated via text letting me know a supervisor couldn't be reached by phone, only by email. Still waiting on a response to the email that I sent. Really bad customer service.

Purchased a mattress from here in Jan 2025, Delivery was scheduled for 2/7, while the delivery team was nice, they broke our stair rail. I called the store and they referred me to a 3rd party that handles this. After sending proof, along with a text from the delivery person offering to come and do the repair, which I refused the company is saying they won't pay for it. My review of the Dump is similar to that of many others - it is a great big con job. We bought a fancy and expensive leather couch from the Dump in ******* in July 2021. We were replacing for the second time what were much cheaper family room couch and chairs where the cushions had collapsed after only a few years of use; we are not heavy people, my wife is small and i am a modest 200 lbs.
