After seeing NFD commercial regarding installing vinyl flooring, I decided to give them a call for a free in-home estimate. I made the appointment for July 17th however; over the weekend I realized the time was in conflict with another commitment. NFD is not open on the weekend, so I called first thing on July 17th to reschedule. So far, very late to install, 1st I am told from 7 AM till 12, that alone is ridiculous,,then they call at 10,30 am and tell from 12 to 4 ,this after I empty 2 full rooms of furniture,,and even told they will try, total bull, do yourself a favor, go somewhere else
Very sloppy work. They hire cheep installers, mostly non-english speaking, who arrived late and left late leaving unfinished work and a mess. Also they broke a $150.00 lamp, left transition strips incorrectly installed (carpet extends approx. 2" beyond door into hallway) and loose and the company refuses to correct the issues...unless I pay more labor and material fees.
I went with this company for new floors. Sales guy was good and the installer guy was good. *** came for job and installer said I can't do job. House floors are uneven and bumps. Had to redo entire floor subfloor ...BIG job. So I called National flooring and I was told I can't get my money back. SMH not good business Ethics. The worker said he couldn't do job and even called his boss. I gave a deposit at signing and installer never asked for the rest . Horrible company to do business!!! Took our 1000$ deposit because we wouldnt agree with the garbage they wanted to install!! Very unfair business practices!!! Pleas stay away from this horrible company!!
I had floors installed 3 months ago-then a jacuzzi tub burst and destroyed a portion of the floor. National floors insisted they do the complet job over instead of repairing what was Broken for $200 more than I paid originally 3 months prior. Then they went back and forth like car salesman on the phone with ******* and were able to come down half of the original quote which was still excessive for just having it done 3 months ago. SCAMS THE ELDERY. TOOK MY 75 YEAR OLD FATHERS MONEY AND INSTALLED A TOTALLY DIFFERENT CARPET THAN WHAT MY FAHTER PICKED OUT. WHEN THE WORKERS WERE TOLD TO STOP IT WAS WORNG MATERIAL, THEY TOLD MY FATHER THEY COULD NOT THEY HAD TO COMPLETE JOB. WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY MYSELF THAT VERY SAME DAY I WAS TOLD NO COMPLAINTS WILL BE TAKEN BECAUSE THE CARPET WAS ALREADY INSTALLED. SALESMAN, *******************, REFUSES TO CALL MY FATHER OR MYSELF BACK.
The installer told us they would install thresholds and transition pieces in multiple areas to account for the height difference in the flooring from room to room.When the installer got there he stated that the height difference was not something he could account for and that the people doing the estimates often lie about it to sell the product. I now have to come up with a solution and install transition pieces myself.
Do not use National Floors Direct.You will regret it. I recently had a horrible experience with them.(Remember that I warn you.)The sales rep. ************* himself very well with lots of promises about the company and got the deposit and the contract sign then he forget about all of the promises.
