New Birdeye Experience — Coming September 16

We're excited to introduce the new Birdeye experience—a cleaner, more intuitive platform designed to help you spend less time navigating and more time taking action.

NOTE: Our refreshed UI/UX is already available for Direct customers. If you're a Partner customer, you'll start seeing the new experience from September 16 as we roll it out across partner accounts.

What's happening

Starting September 16, you can preview the new experience and switch back to the classic experience through September 30. On October 1, the new experience becomes the default for all accounts.

What's new

  • A refreshed dashboard: Get a new AI Search summary, expanded Social performance metrics, and clearer views of Tickets and your Unified Inbox.
  • Simplified navigation: Products are grouped more logically, with actions organized into Human Actions, Outcomes, and Settings—making it easier to find what you need and take action.
  • Centralized performance insights: Reports and insights are organized under Outcomes, giving you a consistent place to view performance across your Birdeye products.
  • A familiar Inbox: Your Inbox experience remains unchanged.

We'll continue to refine the new experience based on your feedback in the weeks ahead.

If you use Birdeye's Agents, you'll also see a dedicated Agents section with additional controls.

Listings

Feature Enhancement

What changed: Birdeye now checks images for exact duplicates—including during manual uploads, API uploads, and Google Media imports—and blocks or flags repeat uploads, and cleans up existing duplicates.

Why it matters: Keeps your media library and listings free of redundant images and improves overall data accuracy.

How to check it out: Applies automatically whenever images are uploaded, with no change to upload speed for non-duplicate images.

Now live as of September 1, 2026

Search AI

New Capability

What changed: Added the ability to configure the weighting of visibility score, citation share, sentiment, and ranking in the Search AI score calculation.

Why it matters: Lets you tailor the score to reflect what matters most to your business rather than a fixed formula.

How to check it out: In Search AI scoring settings.

New Capability

What changed: Added an opt-in setting that expands each tracked query into multiple related prompts run across AI engines.

Why it matters: Gives a fuller picture of how your brand shows up across a wider range of AI search queries.

How to check it out: As an opt-in setting in Search AI settings. NOTE: Not offered on location-based pricing plans.

Reviews

New Capability

What changed: Extended review response approval workflows so external users, location-level users, and reseller-level users can be included as approvers.

Why it matters: Gives businesses more flexibility to route review responses to the right approver, including partners outside the core team.

How to check it out: When setting up or editing approval workflows for review responses.

New Capability

What changed: Added a native integration with Healthgrades, enabling direct review responses without leaving Birdeye.

Why it matters: Saves time and centralizes review management for healthcare providers, so patient feedback gets timely responses alongside all other review sources.

How to check it out: In the Reviews Inbox once Healthgrades is connected as a review source.
