Very hardworking, under appreciated counselors and nurses. Safe, clean, and supportive atmosphere. I am very grateful for them and their helping hand. I can tell you this: some of the entitlement, arrogance, and plain disrespect I have personally witnessed the staff endure is absurd. From reception, to counselors, nurses, and doctor; the S. 10th Street location are absolutely invested in the tx and recovery of their patients. A top notch place with professionals who truly care about individuals. Life saving.
10th Street CTC provides a truly comprehensive treatment experience. While medication is provided, the real treatment is provided by the counselors. They work closely with patients to develop abstinence plans, relapse prevention plans, and teach recovery skills so that patients can succeed when treatment at the clinic has been completed. Anyone who is genuinely looking for their pathway to recovery will find it here. There’s nothing like this clinic anywhere in this region.
It's been a long time for me. My first was a five year run and subsequently I had to leave against my will.Now it's actually been a great experience . My counselor Heidi, made this experience a little more tolerable however, She tookflight on me a few years back. The one I have now is ALmOST too good to be here. I don't know why everybody gives such negative reviews. I've been going their for about a year and a half. Although you do have to wait sometimes, for the most part it's nice. Nice friendly people work there, the nurses are nice, and they have very experienced counselors to help you. The groups are kind of pointless in my mind but I suppose they do work. Some people do need them. There are wait times but it is much better than the alternative. Don't go try to make new friends their and you won't have a problem.
