Love love love Ocean Ridge. It has been an amazing place for my mom. My mom stayed much longer than expected and was treated well by the staff. Many staff & nurses treated her as family. We were also pleased with the attentiveness of her doctor and nursing director. Let's not forget the amazing physical therapy staff who did not give up on my mom When others did. Been a resident here for over 3 yrs (long story), I personally have no complaints regarding my regular CNAs and LVNs. The activities and dietary directors come in pretty regularly to check in, get feedback, tell us about upcoming activities etc. The physical rehab team here is great, (when my insurance allows me to work with them), and my current case manager, Ashley has been awesome.

I would NEVER recommend a family member to this facility. It is a very disorganized and unprofessional nursing staff along with the MSW's. Awful! No communication. As a family member I had to ask for updates on my Mother's care. This should be done by the staff. Not a family member going to get an update. Even the higher up's did nothing, only talk. She just stayed in the office. No higher up to do Nursing rounds to check on patients At least not my Mother. TV on all night and day. Loud! Staff would not turn it down, so my ... read more

They DO NOT I repeat DO NOT DESERVE A STAR ! The WHOLE staff in that facility mistreated my mother. the "nurses" in that facility were not TRAINED properly. Thanks to them my sister is now dead. You would think they know when there patient's are sick. Especially when my sister coughs when she has a slight cold. Thanks for nothing. My sisters stuff always went missing. When she died they gave me another ladies clothing and items. None of those items were hers but the Bible I sent her.

Patients personal items come up missing, patients medication runs out due to giving to wrong patient, Doctor only visits patients approx. 2 x a month. Recently a family member to a close friend of mine has had bad experience with staff due to losing her son who was a resident there. He passed away and no one can explain why or how. His belongings were missing when she went to pick her son's stuff up and they were very uncoordinated. I will not give this place even one star. My property goes missing, can't get nursing assistance when needed. My pain medication runs out frequently because they are giving it to other patients. They're dismissive of the patients because they're low income or Medicare. This place needs new beds and furniture and new staff. If I had private health insurance I would not be here.

Disappointed in this facility. Gave them a t star by mistake when they deserve a 2. I can see why this place is loosing money and having to down grade. Poorly run and little to no instructions or help from staff. Nurses please have insurance working here and families just send your loved ones somewhere else. Not worth them sitting in blood for hours and while they pass off the problem to the next shift nurse to deal with the angry yelling family.
