Get directionsJackson Creek Village is excellent. They make sure my grandmother is okay, and I have my personal favorite nurse manager, Danica. She is caring, loving, and absolutely devoted to her job. She is the best nurse manager. As a family, we feel comfortable knowing my grandmother is with people like Danica.
My daughter was in the acute care section for two weeks with weakness due to chronic Ascites. All the staff, from the top down, including Hakeem in transport, were so helpful in getting her stronger. She was back and forth from the hospital a couple of times and when she had to go to the hospital the final time, they graciously said they would accept her back again if she needs additional rehabilitation. We highly recommend The Villages at Jackson Creek and appreciate all the kindness and support they gave me as well.
The Villages of Jackson Creek has been a life saver for our family. My brother was no longer able to function on his own with multiple health issues and disabilities. We were fortunate to be able to find a room for him at The Acute Skilled Center. My sister and I have been so impressed. Every staff member has been understanding, flexible and helpful with my brother's special needs. Everyone from admissions, to the nurses, the social worker, the Therapy staff, the housekeeping staff, the laundry ladies, the med techs and CN... read more
The care our mother is receiving is exceptional. The staff is so kind and considerate. They are caring of our family during a difficult time and understanding and patient as we ask question after question.
Both my parents were in VOJC a number of times. They always received excellent care. Food depends on your taste preference. Mom and dad enjoyed the food with minor complaints. Therapy worked well with each of them allowing them to return to my home.
I don't recommend Villages of Jackson Creek, Independence Mo., to anyone. It is a beautiful building inside and out but that's about it. The two Social Workers I spoke with numerous times were pleasant, helpful and seem to love their jobs. There was a nurse, Rose, that took really good care of my mom. After being in quarantine for 1 week my mom started having diarrhea (4-7x day) vomiting (1-2x day). A CNA got onto my mom for not making it to the toilet to go to the bathroom. If they would have answered the lights soone... read more
This is an awful place. If you would like your loved one to die, send them to Villages of Jackson Creek in Independence Missouri! They do not take care of their patients. It is called assistant living for a reason; however, there is no assistance. They do not make sure the patients eat or even drink water. My grandmother was sent to the emergency room from the place with such severe dehydration she had sores all over her mouth. Ultimately she died. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
I had the misfortune to stay here after a hospital stay for a broken pelvis and broken arm. It LOOKS very nice. new and clean. I was there for one night and got the hell out of there as soon as I could. The person in my shared room had tv blaring ALL NIGHT long. I tried to get in bed at about 6pm and needed help finishing up. I rang for help 6:10 I rang again, 6:15 I rang again. Big black woman came and denied I rang at 6. Rude and clearly she didn't want to help me. Because of my breaks I did the call button about 10. When ... read more
My Mom spent time in skilled nursing and I would give them an F. IN My Opinion- Terrible Patient Care!!! Nurses are rude and inattentive. She waited and waited for someone to help her to the restroom multiple times When call lights are activated, there is a very low sense of urgency to respond.
