My sister very ill! Multiple needs requiring extra skilled nursing care! From IVs to wound VAC to just you name it she had it. She's also very depressed because she's been through so much she had a bad fall as a result of loss of her knee and things were not looking good for her and then she got a bad infection and she was so sad. She is a retired nurse and so am I and so we know how hard it is to take care of all these issues. Estrella Montano here- I was admitted to this place for rehab PT/OT. This place is a rockstar- rehab is wonderful, persistent, they are good what they do. Assist me every step of the way to my recovery. Ken, Amanda, Jaya & Megan.. Nursing department- wonderful nurses. Kind, they never complain and help me all the time. Relative left care here a few days ago after ~8 weeks here for broken hip. Summary- we picked Midtown Oaks based on CA Dept. of Health/ Medicare ratings, location and "atmosphere" when compared with other local facilities. I am still in midtown post acute and my experience has been great! From the janitors to the doctors have been so professional and attentive to my every need. My special thanks to CNA'S Maresa and Jashthats , they are the most helpful ,and so compassionate people. Thank you to Brendan an amazing nurse, more compassion than I've ever seen in a nurse. My mom is a patient in midtown oak. She likes it there and so do I. I have met a great person who works there, we are now really good friends. Her name is Naomi and she is wonderful. Also Peggy in the business office is also another great person I have met there as well. It is nice to know that my mom is well taken care of. I also bring my dogs Brandon and Hatchi there , they are a big hit when they visit. Thanks again. Erin

It's under unfortunate circumstances that I came to know the people at Midtown Oaks, but they've made the situation as comfortable as possible. My mother needed to recover there from a fall and Juliet (coordinator), Chris (physical therapy) and Bless (physical therapy) all showed a genuine concern for my Mom's health and recovery. Should you find yourself or a loved one in circumstances that require a Skilled Nursing Facility, consider Midtown Oaks.

ZERO STARS First time experience with Midtown Oaks. I am appalled by the care that was given to my family member. I got the notion that my family member was put in a room and left alone for hours and days. Food stuck in his mouth, he seemed to be choking, and never was his mouth cleaned, or moistened with water, he was so critical, he was suffering, and no one paid any attention.
