I have just moved out of an Allston studio apartment after six years, and have had nothing but a good experience with Samia. Both Alex Ann and Dave Chester have been excellent, responsive managers, and Susan Povio was also willing to help answer simple questions. My apartment was greatly improved during the time I lived there, thanks to Sean in Maintenance and his kind, efficient and skilled team. I am sad to be leaving for family reasons!

I've been a tenant in a Southcoast Samia property for over 10 years, and I have known nothing but professional compassion, a real concern for my welfare from managment, and have witnessed consistent efforts to improve the property to keep it safe for all, while maintaining and encouraging an open line of communication. Dealing with tenants in all locations and from all walks of life, has to be challenging. In particular, Mark Pasciscia, who administrates this particular property, is always genuinely available, helpful and re... read more

My experience with the Samia Companies throughout the years has been wonderful. My property manager, Alexandra, has been an absolute joy to work with. She is always kind, accommodating, and very responsive whenever I have had to reach out to her. The building I have lived in (Chestnut Hill Avenue) is located in a great area, is always well kept, has a parking lot along with a bunch off street parking. I always see maintenance every couple of days making sure the building and lawn are kept clean. The maintenance workers are a... read more

Live in the apartments on Kelton st in Allston and have been with Samia for 2 years and just signed another lease with them. Our apartment has had plenty of problems but at the end of the day, once you figure out who's in charge of what it's not difficult to get things taken care of - know who's in charge of your building, know the emergency hotline, get to know maintenance, etc. Maintenance has always been very helpful with every issue and our property manager has been accommodating as well. Only real complaint is they see... read more

I have lived in a Samia building since 2014. I've hit my five year mark and I'd like to share some of my thoughts and experiences over the years. Given some of the other reviews, I think it's important. Firstly, I'd like to give a shoutout to Alexandra Ann, who manages the property I live in. She has always been communicative, friendly and open to feedback / requests. She's helped made living here easy! Let's start with the *few* negatives. I think folks tend to forget the building is *old*. And like many old Northeastern ... read more

In April of 2018, I had moved from Washington, DC to Braintree, Massachusetts for a short-term work project. I worked with Prestige Rental Solutions in Boston to find this apartment starting in March until early April when I ended up signing a 12 month lease with Samia Companies LLC for their 1731 Washington Street, Apt. 3, Braintree, MA. property. Other than the traffic to get in and out of Boston Monday - Friday, the location was ideal for a young professional to call home for a short period of time. After working out my... read more

I have had some rather horrible landlord experiences, in the past. Working with Samia was the exact opposite. I lived in one of their apartments in Watertown for three years, and really have nothing but nice things to say. I moved in to the apartment, mid-lease and ended up resigning, twice. When it came to maintenance, their crew was as efficient as it gets. I never had an issue that wasn't resolved, quickly. Heat stopped working in one of our rooms, and they would show up within hours. They were also a nice bunch of gu... read more

I live in one of their apartment buildings in Boston. There is a maintenance crew who works out of an office right around the corner five days a week to respond to requests. The apartments are old, and need maintenance. If you advocate for what you need however, they are exceptionally responsive to requests. When I moved in, the apartment was filthy, 90% of the water came out of the tub spout while only 10% came out of the shower head, and the water fluctuated between 50 and 115 degrees. I am confused as to how the last ten... read more

I actually had a pretty good experience with this company. They're pretty hands off but come quickly to fix repairs. Our property manager, Alexandra Ann was incredibly accommodating and reasonable to work with. She made everything easy and was very understanding. The only reason I am docking a star is because they really should be renovating more of the apartments if they can because when they do they look really nice. They also raise rent almost every year by a little, but that's pretty standard in Boston.
