Reviews on Dr. Hooper October 2015 - The first hernia surgery my son, Brandon Allshouse, had with Dr. Hooper as his surgeon at Mercy, we felt she did a good job. But we felt like we were dropped with no follow-up. April 19, 2019 - The second surgery Dr. Hooper did on our son, Brandon, we believe was done wrong. Dr. Hooper wrapped Brandon’s esophagus so tightly with mesh where it goes into the stomach that food could not get past. He had said many times that food felt like it was getting stuck in his chest.
