Dr Abram D'Amato actually listens to you. You discuss together a plan. He answers all questions. I also recently had surgery performed by him. He called me the day before- I saw him in pre-op / he called me the day after my surgery. Exceptional urologist- totally happy with him and all aspects of his practice.
I first met Dr. D'Amato after spending 4 days in the ICU critically ill with septic shock. I have no memory of the time I spent in the ICU, but luckily I improved and was moved to a regular room for another 7 days and found out he was the Urologist Surgeon who saved my life. Besides my original hospital time I have had two office visits and just had another follow up kidney stone surgery where he removed an unbelievable amount of stones along with other things'. Super with patient’s concern
I met with Dr. D'Amato for the first time recently. He and his staff were exceptional. Dr. D'Amato was thorough professional courteous from the moment I encountered him in his office. He took the time to completely explain all questions in lay terms, providing me with complete understanding of his thought process regarding my condition, and his plans for care at the moment and in the future. He at no point tried to rush our interaction or visit, and had a great comforting bed-side demeanor. His staff members were all awesome... read more
This man doesn't listen to his patients, more interested in drug cost. Then actually listening to what my actual problem is.

Well I had hernia surgery and had complications when they tried to put in my catheter. This practice was called in to assist as I was on the operating table at the time. I was to be visited before ,y realest as well as get the catheter out. It took 10 calls over 5 days before they would take it out six days after the surgery. When I finally got the catheter out they noted that a follow up appoint,met for the issue found in the surgery was not set up despite me asking for that was well in each of my calls.D?
