ABS Kids lied to us about working with insurance and scheduled us for an autism assessment. They assured us that they worked with insurance when they knew full well that they normally don't. The Psychologist, for her part, did a good and thorough assessment. ABS Kids however then tried to tell us the assessment would not be covered by insurance and would cost us $2,400 out of pocket (they only did this after the service had been rendered). Moved to the South Salt Lake area from West Jordan, and I was nervous about finding ABA Therapy for my son. We were referred to ABS Kids and it has been the best experience for us!! Monthly meetings with the BT staff and my child is well taken care of with plenty of skill based learning and fun activities for the kids (Halloween, Christmas, etc) Clean environment, GREAT location, secure building and overall I would recommend ABS Kids to anyone looking for ABA therapy!
I love ABS! They make me feel confident in knowing my son is getting the best assistance that will help him thrive. He has already improved so much with his speech and behavior.
It’s been like 4 years that my son use to go to the ABS ABA therapy center I would recommend all the parents cause my son since he was 3 and now 7 did a lot of progress Koko was my son’s favorite and all the other teams did a lot Mirna,Georgeanna,Ceairrah,Yesenia,Emilee and of course Jenna the best ones Emma,Annie and Marcy also did a lot for his progress I would give this center 5 stars
If you enjoy having sanity I recommend going through a different company! I have spent the last year trying to work with them and they just give the runaround. Zero flexibility, zero willingness to communicate I went 3 months before I was able to get an intake appointment call. And then another 9 to get a call to do any evaluation. They are not willing to accept out of state testing. So if you have done out of state testing just know they will subject your child to all of those hours of testing again.
