My daughter has been attending for a month now and still arrives at the door everyday super excited to return. I was worried at first about the amount of time required for her to be there but they worked with me and my daughter with gradually adding her to their program and increasing her time spent there. New director Michelle doesn’t listen to parents concerns, can tell she is very inexperienced and lacks compassion. Which in a field working with special needs it’s something every employee needs. Tony the BA doesn’t care about his patients. First, let me start off saying ABS kids is an amazing origination with strong values and standards. The people who work hands on with the kids are truly amazing and care deeply about the work they provide. Julia at the front desk is warm and always welcoming. The center is clean and well designed with safety measures in place that make me feel comfortable with dropping my child off there (knowing that my child is at high risk for elopement). My son attends and the progress he is making is wonderful. The staff is so very nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you have an autistic child and want to explore ABA therapy.
The photo is of a teddy bear in a tree in the parking lot at ABS KIDS. I couldn’t help but share it. Anyway, the people here are professional and kind and give their best to the kids they serve. They are prompt in letting you know of any schedule change or any other issues of concern. They take the time to get to know your kiddo before jumping right in to services and they really listen to what the needs are of the child and family. 100% recommended!
