ABS Kids in Gastonia has been an absolute blessing. My child has been attending this center for over a year now, and the growth I’ve seen in him has been truly amazing. He has come such a long way, and it means everything to see his progress and confidence improve. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Care that goes above and beyond. My son began center based care exactly a year ago. I wanted to wait until he "graduated" before writing out this detailed review to give my full, honest feedback. Prior to my son attending, he dealt with the works. No fear of danger, tantrums lasting hours, head slamming, potty training issues... the works. New director Michelle doesn’t listen to parents concerns, can tell she is very inexperienced and lacks compassion. Which in a field working with special needs it’s something every employee needs. Tony the BA doesn’t care about his patients. My daughter has been attending for a month now and still arrives at the door everyday super excited to return. I was worried at first about the amount of time required for her to be there but they worked with me and my daughter with gradually adding her to their program and increasing her time spent there. First, let me start off saying ABS kids is an amazing origination with strong values and standards. The people who work hands on with the kids are truly amazing and care deeply about the work they provide. Julia at the front desk is warm and always welcoming. The center is clean and well designed with safety measures in place that make me feel comfortable with dropping my child off there (knowing that my child is at high risk for elopement).
