My wife and I went to this dentist for a few years. PROS Very clean, very friendly staff, large practice CONS I believe they care more about how much money they can make than the patient care itself. The hygienist that did my last cleaning said, "we always find cavities". During the exam/cleaning they will upsell you added services for gum/throat checks mentioning cancer scares then flash a light for two seconds and say you're good to go.. Easy $100 for them. Today I called Acierno Dental for what will be my very first dentist appointment ever—and wow, was I nervous. I was honestly bracing myself for judgment or awkwardness, but instead, I got Amy on the phone, and she was an absolute gem! She was kind, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Linda DiFranco was sincerely warm, genuine and inviting. I felt welcomed and safe among the staff like the family you look forward to being with. This is my regular dentist but I took my 99 year old mom today. They were able to make her smile and look forward to coming back! Honestly everyone is welcoming and smiling. It must be a prerequisite to employment. I for one have no problem with the dentist, but I know mom was nervous to go. Now she knows who she will be seeing when she goes back and I’m grateful for the terrific care she was given.
