I’ve had psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis for over 20 years. I’ve been on cosentyx for many years, and it works like a charm. Cosentyx Connect pays 100% for my medication so insurance isn’t ever an issue. Despite sharing all of that with Dr. Fernandez, he insisted that insurance wouldn’t cover it (again, not a problem since I have Cosentyx Connect), and he stated that I would “have to have a study done at the university.” (A study for WHAT? Extremely unprofessional. The office staff was rude, and the office itself was dirty. We had an appointment scheduled for weeks, only to arrive and be told they didn’t have what was needed to treat my son. After waiting in the exam room for 20 minutes, the doctor came in with no solution—just an apology that they didn’t have the necessary medication and no idea when they would get it. I have been going to ADF Dermatology for 25+ years. Dr Fernandez is incredible at seeing the problem and knowing exactly what to do. Years ago he was able to reverse my rosacea, which was very embarrassing for me and getting worse with time. I have had many, many compliments on my skin since then. I recommend him at the highest level! You won't be sorry!
Great doctor. Got me scheduled immediately. Dr. Fernandez was very thorough with me. Totally recommend him to anyone.
Dr Fernandez is extremely knowledgeable, and takes his time to listen and explain. He provides genuine compassion for his patients and staff. I highly recommend ADF Dermatology!
