Could not get appointment and insurance approval for nearly a month. The deductible was absurd. Not only do we need Medicare for all, but for profit medicine has been a complete failure.
8/2025 Wow the decline, so heartbreaking. This has been my go to place, but the administrative situation is scary. I paid my bill upon receipt. The check cleared the bank 7/22/25. Yesterday (8/27) I get another letter/bill from them, "This is our final effort to collect on your past due balance...will be turned over to collections." This facility is very fraudulent and I think I need to get a lawyer to sue them. I was told my insurance company does cover the scan and I have to pay out of pocket, i was given a bill at the facility for the ultrasound scan I did and I paid everything I was been charged to pay out of pocket that same day with my credit card. Few weeks later I keep getting an outrageous bill in my mail after I have made payment that day.This is fraudulent and unacceptable.
I went in for an HSG test/procedure at Advanced Imaging and was horribly nervous after hearing it could be a pretty painful/uncomfortable procedure. Dr. Berst and the radiological tech that assisted him were both SO sweet and patient in making sure I was comfortable and aware of what was happening the whole time. I couldn’t recommend both of them enough — it’s rare to find providers who show as much genuine concern and empathy when working with patients as these two did.
I LOVE this place!!!!! I have had 3 PET scans at Advanced Imaging. The staff is PHENOMINAL!!! I have NEVER had a bad experience with the front office or technicians. They are polite, accommodating, kind and professional. I found their PET scan to be affordable compared to the hospital in Iowa City. Results were accurate compared to the results provided by the hospital in Iowa city. Thank you Advanced Imaging!
