Almost 2 months since I fired her and no refund of money she owes me back! She is still sending emails asking about disputed invoices so she can refund what she owes me. I have sent the information several times, with invoice numbers, amounts, very detailed, but she can't seem to understand, or possibly just arguing so she won't have to refund the promised money?? ....very risky hiring this attorney! I was a wreck when I first met Ms. Van Cott and her team. I was in desperate need of help with a divorce with custody. They were quick to get me in and start working on my case. My experience with this attorney was highly unprofessional. Instead of maintaining proper professional boundaries, she chose to intervene in matters that were entirely personal and unrelated to her role. I was sent outdated letters riddled with grammatical errors, written in a manner that felt more threatening than professional.
