Dan Kusik was absolutely outstanding. He is a wonderful teacher and a master in tailoring grant taking strategies to the personality and skills of his students. After working with Dan, both of our kids had huge jumps in their SAT scores. He also bonded really well with our kids and they actually liked going to the tutorial sessions. My child worked with Daniel (Dan) one-on-one for at most eight sessions during the fall of junior year. We opted for private sessions over a group course offered through the school, and could not be happier with the results. I believe we ended up spending less than the course would have cost, and my child received individualized, targeted lessons based on analysis of past practice tests and problem sets provided by Dan. We sought a few sessions of SAT tutoring for both of our kids because they didn't need the broad preparation of a course, more some fine tuning, especially on harder question types. Their awesome tutor (Dan) was able to use his experience and expertise to provide exactly what they needed to review, focusing on the specific tools for each of them to maximize their potential, without any pressure on them or us in any way.
