I have the most wonderful doctors assistant for all these years in nurse practitioner, Amy Burns, she is patient caring gives me confidence discusses in detail each and every issue I may want to address. I never feel rushed nor does she embarrass me if I don’t seem to understand the first time I’m very pleased with Dr who replaced Dr Carrasco he is very knowledgeable very patient and very caring. I travel 45 minutes one way in heavy traffic for each of my appointments every month thank you.
Dr. Mercado himself is ok, I liked him, but the staff in the office is absolutely pathetic. Terrible attitude. No follow up on prescriptions no follow up on anything. When you call the office, no one answers the phone. When you go to the office, all of the staff acts like you’re interrupting their time. My advice, find another doctor that’s what I did. So disappointed!
Very bad experience. First new patient appt. was not great. Follow up with the referrals for x rays, other tests were a big zero. Actually had an Arizona imaging group text me for an appointment. I live in FL. Receptionist unhelpful. I got riled up over her poor attitude. Not going back.
I can’t say enough about the care and concern shown by Amy Burns, She was proactive in starting the process which resulted in diagnosing my colon cancer. Some doctors, based on my symptoms would have taken a wait and see approach but she didn’t. For that I will be forever grateful. The referral process in the office has been a bit lacking in the past. I know this is something that they are working on and once the issues with this are solved, it will warrant a five star rating in my eyes.
Very grateful for Amy burns, Yaritza also and all her staff Ms Amy was able to see me with no appointment same day, that day office was very busy and I'm in a wheelchair she took her time to personally roll me all the way to my car; I'm forever grateful! Thank you
