Overall, I was very pleased with my detox experience at Agave Ridge. They (Lacey) reached out to me and I will forever be grateful considering only two detoxes in the Phoenix area accept Medicare, and the other one had horrifying reviews. If you go, be patient. They have only been open 3 months and have some kinks to work out. They try and make you as comfortable as possible and the Psychiatrist makes an effort to see how you're doing on a daily basis. If I could give this place negative stars I would. My son was brought in for a routine evaluation because his clinic saw old scars on his arm, and subsequently he was admitted. He filed an AMA (against medical advice) as he did not need to be there and was not suicidal or depressed or having any other symptoms. Out of retaliation, they filed a mental health petition to have him transferred to CBI for another evaluation. This petition can result in court ordered mental health which he does not need.
