I have been seeing Dr. Nigen for 15 years. Great physician, personable, attentive and caring. Office staff have also been great. When you make an appointment you see him not an assistant like with so many other offices.

Dr. Nigen is a competent and caring doctor. However, his office staff is the exact opposite in that they do not return calls when there is an issue that requires their attention in terms of an insurance pre-approval. Not only do they not return calls, or pay attention to detail to my peril by not having an important medication. It is unfortunate that such a good doctor is sabotaged by his staff. The amount of time that I had to waste from my job in calling, leaving messages and not getting satisfaction to resolve the issue i... read more

The best doctor I have been to in Florida, a real "Doctor", not just a "Medical Professional"! Extremely knowledgeable, truly interested in the patient, very courteous and patient and with a really big heart. I have sent all my family and friends there and everyone is really happy

No way in Heck should this guy be a doctor!

Nice man. Personable, but absolutely negligent and not thorough in general testing and care. Nothing ever necessary to be done. Felt like he wrote me off because of my age. I moved back North and have so many issues detected that should have been addressed and caught if he ever ran routine tests. Do not recommend him for anyone at anytime.

I had a problem on a Saturday and this guy was on call for my regular doctor. I had to page him three times. When he finally called me, after an hour and a half, he refused to do anything for me (told me to take ibuprofen, which I was already doing). He sounded like he couldn't have cared less. If you get sick, you definitely don't want this guy as a doctor.

Ignored complaints of sweating for 2 months. Never did an EKG. This led to a massive heart attack with evidence of a prior heart attack. He held Clonazapam (which had been a daily dose) and forgot to restart it. 5 days later this resulted in withdrawal symptoms. (He admitted to the mistake.) When he restarted the Clonazapam, he neglected to discontinue Hydrocodone which was on the medication list and nurses gave it (a dangerous combination.) Continues to ignore complaints of pain and diarrhea.
