Aliyah Nursing Home – Highwood, IL I recently visited Aliyah in Highwood, IL to pick up the personal belongings of a deceased family member. This was already an emotionally difficult experience, and unfortunately it was made significantly worse by the behavior of the front desk staff. The man at the front desk, Jesus Estela, was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Aliya is a tremendous improvement over his last skilled nursing facility. Thank you for giving him a good shave, which positively affects his attitude (pictures before & after). I have spent a month at Aliya in Highwood recovering from a pelvic fracture. When I arrived at the residential/rehab facility ,I was totally immobile - the caring staff brought me back by restoring my ability to walk with a walker and return home with confidence of my recovery. Horrible experience my mom had there, apparently “Short staff “when my mom needed help nurse showed up like half hour or an hour later to assist her specially when had diaper on! !! Seems like they hated working there!!!
6 month check in My mom has been living at Aliya of Highwood for 6 month now since she can no longer live on her own and requires more care. We had many concerns when we had to put her into a nursing facility but we are so happy with the care my mom has received thus far . Her Nurse's, Natti & Ade have been so wonderful & take great care of my mom & always greet her with a smile & keep me updated as to how she is doing.
