Aliya is a tremendous improvement over his last skilled nursing facility. Thank you for giving him a good shave, which positively affects his attitude (pictures before & after). I have spent a month at Aliya in Highwood recovering from a pelvic fracture. When I arrived at the residential/rehab facility ,I was totally immobile - the caring staff brought me back by restoring my ability to walk with a walker and return home with confidence of my recovery. 6 month check in My mom has been living at Aliya of Highwood for 6 month now since she can no longer live on her own and requires more care. We had many concerns when we had to put her into a nursing facility but we are so happy with the care my mom has received thus far . Her Nurse's, Natti & Ade have been so wonderful & take great care of my mom & always greet her with a smile & keep me updated as to how she is doing. My nice is there, the people don't help or anything. She is a young lady, she asked them for a pad, due to woman stuff, they told her to call her daughter. Worst place i ever heard of and , per statement, there is no one to talk to. I will be calling around. One star because they did give her a bed. She has not been given her rehab like she is supposed to, if yoy don't want to work, get another job.
My wife had a wonderful experience at Aliya of Highwood. Melo, the admin director, is exceptionally helpful from admission until discharge. I called the facility, not knowing if the room was available. Mello informed me he had already started the admission process requested by the hospital. He arranged the same room where she had stayed a couple of years ago, and quickly felt at ease to start receiving rehab.
