Thank you to the staff on 1 North. My mother receives very good care. She is clean and comfortable. Never left in soiled clothing. The nurses and CNA'S are top notch, in my opinion. Also, the housekeeping staff does an outstanding job keeping Aliya clean. It doesn't smell like many nursing homes. I didn't give 5 stars because there are always ways to improve, but things are good at Aliya Palos Park.
This place is disgusting temperature was 90 degrees the 4 days we wee there. They never assisted in oral cleansing, left in wet and stained diapers, rarely answered patient calls, did not adhere to medical needs, skin rashes were not taken care of, equipment not working properly etc My husband ended up at palos hospital due to their neglect. They did not even do the minimum They don,t care. They need to be closed. If you love your family don’t go there.
I went there after my third surgery. I was welcomed when I came in. Introduced to nurses and assistance. My wound care nurse Deb was perfect. The nurses on the floor were great. Physical therapy great. I can't say enough about the staff. The rooms outstanding each bed had a window which is rare and the place was clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.
Although I think this facility is average, I would like to give a shout out to nurse Denise Brown. If all the staff was as considerate, compassionate, understanding, and efficient in the care of my cousin, I would not hesitate to give this facility 5 stars. But Denise Brown definitely is a 5 star nurse!
Beautiful clean place medical staff is excellent . But please don’t apply for housekeeping Anna Marie will tell everyone working there all ur personal business and reasons for you call offs . she will put you on schedule for days u can’t work just to write you up . And shows favoritism towards her bestie that works beside her . Anything but housekeeping!!!
