I lost our water heater on Christmas Eve. I knew that I was gonna be stuck for several days without hot water. I was looking through Google reviews about plumbers and discovered All About Plumbing. On a long shot I gave them a call and it’s really sweet lady answered and told me that they were working today and that they would have somebody out there by 22 3 o’clock. Richard and his sidekick Cody were amazing. First of all they informed me when they were arriving.and showed up on time. They had to drive up a on a solid sheet of ice on the driveway. They were here for quite some time and found the well house and pump were a ok, thank heavens Then had to locate two separate areas where the pipe was frozen. Once again I had a GREAT experience with All About Plumbing. I would especially like to commend Mike Manus, who was the plumber who replaced my hot water heater. Mike had done a few little plumbing repair jobs for me the past couple of years, but for this big job, Mike did an excellent job removing and installing a new hot water heater - including moving the old water heater and new water heater down a narrow stairway to my basement. The technician arrived on time. Matthew was very pleasant and professional. He explained to me everything that needed to be done and gave me an estimate. From the time he arrived until he finished was 2 hours. He had everything picked up and he tested it several times for any leaks. No leaks, done right the first time. Both Cody and Richard appeared professional and qualified to identify and repair my plumbing problem, that being a bad pressure regulator that was installed close to my meter. However, paying $3,189 for the repair seemed high for two servicemen that arrived at my house at 9:00AM and left at 11:45AM. Adding an hour to the front end of this job for travel time results in a maximum of 3 hours and 45 minutes in billable time for two people.
