I saw Allen Wood several years ago. We met weekly for over two years. I found him to be an exhausting know-it-all preferring to correct me with his misinformation rather than take the time to learn something new. In my experience he was frequently dismissive, being more interested in “ The Allen Wood Show” than listening to me. Allan Wood is professional, warm and welcoming in a space that can be or is difficult and intimidating for many of us. I’ve had four visits so far and feel like we are making good and substantial progress in establishing an excellent connection that gives me a positive outlook for my mental health in the future.
Allan Wood is a patient and solutions-oriented therapist. He is especially astute at assisting me in seeing the long-term progress I’ve made.
They seldom answer the phone in person, take forever to get back to you, give different info depending on who you talk to. They actual counselors are good, but the business end of this organization stinkd
