Food is amazing !
Highly recommended for great Portuguese food. My go to place in Newark that I have gone back to about a dozen times and never been disappointed. Love the Strubel stew with white beans and seafood. Portuguese sausage appetizer is another favorite.
Restaurant is noisy but food makes up for that. Busy place. Everything we ordered was deliscious. Would recommend and definitely would go back. Portions were big. 3 of us shared a plate for 2.
The place was Excellent.Great food and attentive staff.
Food and service were good although they forgot 2 soup orders but no big deal. Got noisier as night went on but place is small so expected. They made up for soup by offering on the house drinks at end of dinner. That was great touch. Would Def recommend and return.
First time here, and certainly not the last. Came to eat before seeing the NJ Devil's game and absolutely loved everything. We started off with two tapas: Pimentos Recheados c/ Bacalhau and the PoIvo a Feira. Both were to die for; flavorful, tender, authentic. I had a 16oz filet mignon which was cooked perfectly, seasoned with salt and pepper. The server was never knowledgeable and accommodated...
I was actually impressed with the ambiance of this place. The food was amazing. The appetizers was a decent price but it is a very small portion. Everything else was good portions with amazing taste.
The seafood lover's delight for two was delicious.
