The paella was to die for. The white sangria was unreal. The service was exceptional. Definitely a place I've visit a few times a year. Marked our favorite so far.
Really enjoyed the food. Service was great. Pedro is very knowledgeable and is superb. My favorite restaurant in the Newark area.
Allegro is situated a few blocks from Ferry street, churasqueria central. I rushed the decision on this restaurant however because I just picked my brother up from EWR, he was hungry, and my shotgunned yelp search was relatively unfruitful.
The ambiance was nice, the service the food divine! Allegro's is one Newark's best secret.

I have been going to this restaurant for years, they have a nice ambiance outside. However it was very loud and they allow smoking in the patio, which can be stifling. The food has also suffered a bit but it is decent.
The food stood out! It was amazing!
Looks just as good as the pictures online - the smells coming from the kitchen were delicious. So atmosphere-wise, a definite 5.
The service was excellent, and was the food was spectacular.
