Dr S is very knowledgeable and personable. He will be missed but he deserves a long awaited retirement! The new computer system has caused many delays when going for simple injections. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes or more. I’m hoping they come up with a better system because the current system isn’t working!
Routine allergy injections have been a lifesaver for me. I’ve suffered from allergies all my life but they got worse when I moved to CT. I was reluctant to get injections because I hate needles but this is NOT like your normal shot—much less invasive and very little discomfort. All the staff is friendly and the doctor has been amazing.
Disorganized and Frustrating Experience. My wife and kids come here regularly for their allergy shots, but the experience has been frustrating. Last month, my wife was turned away multiple times after driving all the way there. While I understand closing for training, the lack of proper notice was unacceptable. She wasn’t the only one—other patients experienced the same issue. My son has now missed his shots for three weeks in a row. I wanted to share my recent experience at your office. After waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes to see the doctor, my family and I were extremely disappointed and upset. However, the situation turned around when Operations Manager Amy learned of the incident and took the time to investigate with her team. She quickly identified that it was a mistake on their end, apologized profusely, and addressed our concerns with sincerity and professionalism. I waited an hour to see the person that would be reviewing my allergy issues - he then asked for my birth control information and told me that my birth control would make me gain weight and I should not be on that birth control… not sure why this was even an issue for him. UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT HIS BUSINESS. I was then told to take Zyrtec every night to solve my issues… which I’m already doing. I left in tears. I was extremely upset.
