Could not ask for a more welcoming, knowledgeable and EXPERIENCED backed program. Gateway Jacksonville's residential program is at the very top in every aspect. From the curriculum, structure for maximum opportunity, to the amazing dining and living corridors- Gateway takes the cake. The people here are amazing. Between the counselors, recovery coaches and nurses and even maintenance. Everyone really cares about your well being and your recovery. They become a part of your recovery in a big way. You get out of here what you put in. All the things you need are at your disposal.
Do not recommend for outpatient. Nobody explains the program and anyone you ask there acts like they’re too busy to answer your questions. The groups are repetitive and boring. You sit for hours to discuss 1 topic that ends up being 20 other random things unrelated to recovery with facilitators that never keep the group on topic. Besides that, if you have a job to pay your bills - don’t even consider it because they practically punish you by not giving you your prescription MAT medication.
