ALERT I would like to raise a serious concern regarding patient safety and the standard of care provided during my recent dental appointment. During the examination, I was given a pair of sunglasses to protect my eyes from direct clinical light. The equipment appeared to be unsanitized, and shortly after the appointment I developed a painful eye infection. It’s my first time visiting this dentist office and I’m so scared and anxious to get my teeth looked at. I had something on my tongue that I was very concerned and nervous about and Dr.Patel, Keyra, barb, and, Tatiana, were the best! I’ve never seen this kind, amazing, perfect service at at dentist office. They made my anxiety go away and they were so nice and laughing with me! As old as I am, I'm terrified of the dentist. However, whenever I visit I am always treated well, my dentists and dental assistants always do everything to make my appointments as comfortable as possible. Everyone is professional and very kind. The receptionists are lovely, they help with all inquiries you may have, and carefully explain your next steps. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND they only react to the “good” google reviews and skip the negative ones. I am writing this as my partner recently had an appointment at this clinic, and the experience has been very concerning. Firstly, we noted a striking smell of cigarette smoke from the dental assistant during the appointment, which felt inappropriate in a healthcare setting and very unsettling especially because I myself am a healthcare provider. The desk staff were polite and well organized. As well, my dentist and dental hygienist were very friendly and welcoming. The general atmosphere of the place was surprisingly lively, so the time actually passed by pretty quickly!
