The desk staff were polite and well organized. As well, my dentist and dental hygienist were very friendly and welcoming. The general atmosphere of the place was surprisingly lively, so the time actually passed by pretty quickly! ALERT I would like to raise a serious concern regarding patient safety and the standard of care provided during my recent dental appointment. During the examination, I was given a pair of sunglasses to protect my eyes from direct clinical light. The equipment appeared to be unsanitized, and shortly after the appointment I developed a painful eye infection. We had a great experience with the dentist during my daughter’s tooth extraction. The dentist explained everything clearly and made her feel comfortable throughout the process. We truly appreciate the care, patience, and professionalism shown. Thank you for making it such a positive experience.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND they only react to the “good” google reviews and skip the negative ones. I am writing this as my partner recently had an appointment at this clinic, and the experience has been very concerning. Firstly, we noted a striking smell of cigarette smoke from the dental assistant during the appointment, which felt inappropriate in a healthcare setting and very unsettling especially because I myself am a healthcare provider. I have been going to Amberlea Dental for 25+ years! I couldn’t imagine anywhere else, staff is absolutely terrific. Doctors and hygienists patiently calm with my kids since they started the dental journey. They make it so easy!
