I understand that you’re gonna get rid of the offshore contacts. They don’t seem to have touch with the local service, which is what I needed not a delivery. So I’m grateful for that happening. Sounds like you’re listening, but why did you change from your East Coast contact, which was fairly pleasant to Africa?

***They use expired equipment illegally!***(See photo of tank collar) After years of getting ripped off by AmeriGas, I finally switched providers and couldn't be happier. **Their track record with me:** - Couldn't get my name right on billing - Sent bills to wrong email address - Only sent past-due notices via mail (ensuring late fees) - Wanted to charge $420 to remove their own tank **Current situation:** Scheduled tank pickup for late October. It's now been over a month and their tank (still containing ~15% propane) is ... read more

I specifically requested 40 gallons, as that amount qualified for the spring promotion of $20 off. However, the driver deliberately filled only 39.9 gallons—just below the threshold—to avoid applying the discount. Unfortunately, their supervisor, who identified himself as William (though I have serious doubts about that), was extremely disrespectful and evasive, attempting to twist words rather than address the issue. Edit: thi... read more

My experience is that AmeriGas only cares about the bottom line and not at all about their customers or customer loyalty. I would never recommend them or their products to anyone. Ever. I would emphatically encourage anyone considering AmeriGas to use a local propane provider where a real live person actually answers the phone or at a minimum you speak to someone located in the USA. It's impossible for someone in Kenya to fully understand or relate to a customer in rural Northern California, and all their answers are scripte... read more

AmeriGas changes our gas delivery to “will call” without informing us. “Will call” basically means that we will call when we need gas. So, they do this every winter (this is the 3rd time). Since we are not aware of the change, we do not see that our gas has run out until everything shuts off in the house. So, then I call their urgent line (it’s a Saturday). They insist they can give us a delivery within 24 hours but now we must pay a $300 urgent fee and a $140 gas leak fee since the tank is at 0%. When I explain the reason i... read more
