You refilled our Food Bank propane tank when you had been told months prior Not To Do as we were going to go with another company when we got the fuel down in our tank so you could remove it safely. You filled our tank but we were able to confirm the request Not To was in your account records for us. When we repeatedly requested to speak with a manager in the U.S. to try to get help quickly we got nothing but the around for weeks until one day we show up at our Food Bank and our propane tank is gone. Impossible to work with. They demand that I am present to begin service, but won't tell me when delivery is planned and refuse to call when delivery arrives.
Despite repeated efforts, you all continue to want to charge me $140 (three separate times) for a "leak check". I love your made-up "rules" that anytime the tank is empty, you have to do a leak check. What happens when the tank is empty BECAUSE YOU DID NOT MEET THE REFILL SCHEDULE. Nice little racket you've got going on. Let the tanks run dry, then charge $140 for five minutes of work.
We are on auto-refill and waited for about a month for propane delivery and never received it. We turned the heat down and tried to make it last as we heard there was a drivers' shortage. When tank capacity reached 22%, I called another company, who delivered the next business day. After my initial review, AmeriGas contacted me and asked how they can improve. Amerigas double charged us, an extra $1500. When we requested a refund back onto our card for the double charge, they told us they do not do electronic refunds, which is how we paid. They said they could only do it by check and it would take six weeks. Then they said they had some kind of computer glitch and it would take an extra two weeks.
