Amerigas showed up when I wasn’t home and said I ordered propane but I never did. They billed me for 185 gallons of propane. My tank is 120 gallon and was at 70% before they showed up and still showed 70% after they “filled it with 180 gallons”. Never ordered anything and some managed to bill 185g on a 70% full 120 gallon tank. Can’t get ahold of anyone except once and got nowhere. Stuck paying the bill and now stuck paying almost $500 for them to come get the tank because they are not worth dealing with. Absolutely terrible... read more
I'm giving a one simply for the fact I can't rate lover! Ever since COVID you now have to place your orders through a phone #that connects you to India! This is AMERIGAS! MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE! Then you wait FOREVER to get your delivery! I've been a customer for over 40 years In ditching this company. And going eles where!
My experience over the last month has be BAAAAAD. Over 8 calls...including hung up on twice. Short of it...AmeriGas decided I need new tank...delivered to the same spot it had been for 20yrs..with 5 percent..but then regular delivery guy said can't deliver propone to that spot..too close to property line...and have been a ghost ever since. With cold weather this month...Im confident they are going to let me run out before the situation is fixed...Customer service is non existent.STAY CLEAR....Its Messed up.. I called to try to get Service to get propane and the lady on the phone was so ignorantly unprofessionally rude mean and nasty no professionalism whatsoever that’s how you treat customers. I was so appalled by the way she was talking to me. I didn’t even want service with this companydo better guys. Unbelievable
If I could leave a negative review I would. I called and cancelled my service October 2023. They sent me a bill saying I owed $320.23 dated 10/31/23. Then they sent me a final bill saying I owed $76.75 dated the same day. That bill shows a pick up fee of 199.99 plus state and county taxes for a total of $213.49. A dispatch fee of 99.99 plus state and county taxes for a total of $106.74. Then a propane return of 61 gallons for 228.08 plus state and county taxes for a total of -$243.48.
