I AM FURIOUS. I'm a property manager, and I have an apartment complex that relies on gas for appliances. The complex has been without gas for nearly two weeks. The first day the gas was out (Monday), I called to have a delivery. I was told there was a maintenance issue, and that a technician would need to come out. I've had this propane company for over 3 years now. I LEASE a propane tank from them which was clearly stated in my contract when I signed back in 2022. Last month, my tank was suddenly locked off unable to heat my pool. I called Amerigas in which they said a technician had concerns of a leak so they locked my tank off, ok no phone call no notification but I understood safety concerns so I ask them to please handle it and unlock the tank as we need to heat the pool. Terrible customer service. I scheduled and paid for a delivery, then received a false notice saying delivery failed because my gate was closed — which never happened. I checked my security cameras and no truck showed up. Multiple calls later, every agent repeated the same incorrect information and refused to acknowledge a system error. Completely unreliable. I will be switching providers.

Propane prices are way too high $7 + per gallon??????? After buying previous gas company servicing my account which was Peoples Gas, then TECO GasCompany Amerigas claimed they own my tank. I lived here 15 years before they laid claim to my tank. They strong armed me into signing a contract with them stating I would not be able to have another company fill the tank. I received notice that the delivery man was unable to deliver our propane because the gate was locked. Our gate is never locked! I called the number on the notice and got a call center agent, who asked me several scripted questions, including how much is still in the tank, and offered no resolution. Then I called the old local number in my contacts and got another incompetent call center agent, who went through the same routine. I hung up!!
