Straight up the worst business in the area. Not just worse propane business, worst business in the area. Hands down. They literally don't have customer service. Not at all. They treat you like crap, even after being loyal customers for years. They could care less. They charge you ridiculous fees for nothing. And the worst part, they let you run out of propane pretty consistently. And then you can't get in contact with them to tell them you ran out, so you just screwed. Especially in winter. Shut off our gas in middle of the night. Can't read the ticket on the door bc Jeff's handwriting is illegible. Automated local number recorded message does not match the inputs (press 3 for billing, etc.) Call back during business hours! What a joke! Call center in Kenya with no info at all! Totally an American company I swear!
A couple of years ago when I first requested to have my gas turned on AmeriGas dropped the ball when they failed to turn on the gas because of their negligence and failure to do their job. I have an AirBNB which caused me to lose a weeks rent. The renters were moved to a different unit. Without the gas they were unable to use the heating and cook their food. I was not compensated for my loss. My loss is their gain. AmeriGas employees who failed to do their job still got rewarded with a paycheck at my expense.
Zero - I have been in contact with different customer service agents and supervisors in Ohio, Nairobi, India, Philippines, and Texas. They all promise to take care of my problem within 24-28 hours. Nothing has happened since December 8th. Every time I receive a case# and every time I get a new person there is not previous information. My next step is the California Attorney General and the BBB. I am also getting the information to go to Small Claims Court.
zero stars, same experience as Luis' review. My propane meter is not connected and I am betting billing each month for propane that I am not using and a meter that is not connected. I have made multiple call to customer service, waiting over 90 minutes each time to speak to a resolution supervisor with no resolution. I have also sent messages to customer service with no response. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I too will be filing a complaint with CA attorney general and BBB.
