I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

This review is for AmeriGas Maintenance Scheduling and Field Maintenance. ********* named **** initiated calls and answered calls for my questions. He was a highly professional, helpful, friendly individual. It turned out that my account was in a different service area from Seans. Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. On January ******* I spoke to an amerigas employee and asked how the convenience payment plan worked. She told me and said it would be $99 to sign up and then my monthly payments would be around $350. So I told her I was good and I didnt want to proceed and just paid my bill in full. Then this month I got a delivery and received my bill via email and saw this $99 charge plus my delivery charge. In early Sept.. I received a post card from Amerigas saying if I ordered, online a gas delivery before Sept. 19, I would be eligible for a discount. I made my order which was delivered Sept 17. On Sept 22, I received an invoice containing no discount. I've communicated with Amerigas by phone,emails and chat without getting Amerigas to provide me with the $20 discount I earned.I can't think of any suggestions to improve Amerigas service.

My tanks ( amerigas tanks they charge me rent for) were said to be faulty and could not be refilled. I was never notified of this until I called to see why they hadnt been refilled. This was December. This alarmed me that I had unsafe tanks. They said Id have to pay $250.00 to repair the tanks before delivery. I cancelled my account. I immediately called an other supplier to come unhook the unsafe tanks. They still have not picked up the unsafe tanks. Its April 11. Ive called amerigas multiple times to have picked up. Angie O - I too received a bill from Amerigas for $596 on 11/29/23 out of the blue. I called to inquire and was also told it was “an inspection and recertification fee”. I have been a customer for 19 years and never received such a bill. I called 5 times since 12/7/23 and spoke to a different customer rep each time to get this resolved. It took two calls to even tell me WHAT I was being charged for as these are just front line staff at a call bank. I have had propane for my home since 2006, Amerigas purchased this account thru Heritage Propane and service even though the price has tripled for a man made product is in humane, I reported a gas leak in my rented tank from them on August 11, 2023 they took the tank quickly, the technician voiced that the COMPANY was prejudice against those in a mobile home and I should look for service elsewhere, but the tank should be returned by Monday August 14 or Tuesday August 15 2023, and that should give me time to look for another ... read more
