We've had positive experiences with Amerigas. *********** is responsive. Website is easy to use, best for placing orders. Text messages provided concerning order status. Price is typically lowest in our area.
I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

I don't understand how this shameful company is still allowed to do business. Please, read the hundreds of complaints and believe all of them. The BBB only publishes 1 out of 20 of the responses on this company. We have discontinued service with them and we just hope they do not make up any additional charges that we will owe them. The customer service of ********************** is so poor it is laughable. Simply absurd. I could not get them to fill a tank last October (2025). After repeated attempts to resolve the issue I was still waiting propane in December. Three service calls were scheduled and each one resulted in a no-show. At that point I had no choice but to discontinue service with Amerigas I initiated that process at the end of December 2025. If i could leave no starts i would. This company does nothing but bleed money from you. I have had numerous issues with them starting with no ability to contact a real person to talk to. The final straw was i needed a filling and they were going to charge me 140$ leak test on my tank, i couldn't get my tank filled unless they charged me for the leak test. DO NOT USE Amerigas find anyone else. We have 2 tanks here 1 with Amerigas (14 years) and Co-op 1 year. This year we noticed that co -op was 1/2 the price so we contacted Amerigas to see what they could do. They never got back to us and picked up the tank. 80% full of propane that we paid for. at 4.99 a gallon. Now they are telling me that we do not get credit for the tank being full and they are going to charge the next person for the propane that we already paid for. On January ******* I spoke to an amerigas employee and asked how the convenience payment plan worked. She told me and said it would be $99 to sign up and then my monthly payments would be around $350. So I told her I was good and I didnt want to proceed and just paid my bill in full. Then this month I got a delivery and received my bill via email and saw this $99 charge plus my delivery charge. In early Sept.. I received a post card from Amerigas saying if I ordered, online a gas delivery before Sept. 19, I would be eligible for a discount. I made my order which was delivered Sept 17. On Sept 22, I received an invoice containing no discount. I've communicated with Amerigas by phone,emails and chat without getting Amerigas to provide me with the $20 discount I earned.I can't think of any suggestions to improve Amerigas service.
