Delivery was prompt but was charged $140 for a leak test because the tank ran empty but no leak test was performed. Delivery driver showed up at 6:45am, filled the tank and left. No one checked in my house for a leak (which was required by Amerigas because the tank ran out) and I was never refunded or credited for the leak test that never happened.
Generally, things have been really good except one time we ran out of gas. I was not able to get them to come out emergently I had to go find her office. There was nobody in the office to help me finally, a nice gentleman who was a delivery guy arranged to give me some gas that day other than that we’ve had good luck with AmeriGas.
Delivery was outside of the given window. Customer support was not helpful in resolving the issue other than telling me to wait and call back again. I had to do this 3 times prior to getting my delivery. Was also told that I could expedite my delivery for $300. Customer service rep was unable to tell me how they came to that insane value. So yeah, another poor service experience that will never change.
Horrible service and customer service even worse. Response told me I needed to learn how to do basic math when was questioning charges. Would never recommend to anyone. One star is a generous review.
I have been with Ameren since 2007 except for the years Heritage Propane had their customers (ahh to still have a person to speak with). I could only communicate via an online chat. This is the 3rd contact I have made to ask about Pre-Buy. Wanted to know when it ended, what my minimum buy would be to prevent being charged a tank rental fee, and what amount I should buy based on previous years.
