If I could give a negative star I would!!!! I ordered and paid for my gas on 1/16 and they were scheduled to deliver it between 2/22-2-24 but the delivery date magical disappeared. I called on the 24th and they said I had to reschedule. The reschedule date was 2/2-2/5. On 2/3 I received a notification that they would deliver it on 2/4. On 2/4 I called around 5p asking for an update. They told me to be patient since the drivers deliver up til 8pm and I was 3 stops away. They never came on 2/4. I doubt Michael Sharp will ever read this, but he has NOT "turnaround AmeriGas, including initiatives to return customer service centers to the US and improve billing/logistics. A two week widow to provide gas? Nickeling and Diming the customers. It is outrageous that AmeriGas said that they were delivering gas and did not. Said there 6 year old tank was worth $1290, yet charged me $1460. Said if I didn’t want the tank, I would cost $419 not to use it anymore and I’d have to give them a 30 days written reason why. Several no shows after scheduled deliveries. Foreign, English speaking customer service reps that don't really understand questions in English and very hard to understand them. Charges for things like calling in to ask gas pricing ($9.99) and fuel recovery charges. The only good thing was the price of gas. But was a real pain otherwise.
My experience with AmeriGas has been nothing short of awful. Setting up an account was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating from start to finish. Every single person I spoke to was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful—like they didn’t care whether I became a customer or not. Simple questions turned into drawn-out conversations with no clear answers, and I was passed around without any real resolution. America's has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I purchased a home in November and before we finished the purchase I had the tank and lines inspected and was given the okay by AmeriGas and was informed my tank was full. 3 days later my closing went through. 10 days later they brought me another tank of gas Annabelle for $750. 22 days later I got notification of yet another tank of gas being delivered along with another bill for $640.
