UPDATE: AmeriGas is refusing to refund the $300 emergency delivery fee despite multiple customer service agents assuring me it would be refunded. They are now claiming that I put the emergency order in several days later than I actually did, and therefore that it came when ordered. I have proof that this is completely false. I am very disappointed with the customer service I have received from AmeriGas in Massachusetts. I have been waiting for a propane tank refill since January 15, 2026, and the issue remains unresolved despite multiple calls, emails, and several escalations to the resolution department. I have called numerous times, including today, and representatives consistently have difficulty locating my account. For the SECOND TIME, Amerigas has used the wrong card for autopayments. I recently called about our regular monthly deliveries only to be told that we had an outstanding payment so they blocked our deliveries. The last time this happened, it took several phone calls (again!) in order to be ablet o put the autopay card in their files. After paying the outstanding balance, i was told that it would take several weeks to get our delivery of propane and if I wanted the delivery any sooner, I would have to pay an extra $300. On 11/18, I requested gas service and was told that my propane tank was filled completely. Today, 12/28, during a winter weather advisory, my tank is empty. I called to report the emergency and had to pay over $300 again to have my tank filled. I questioned how it was possible to have used 124 gallons of gas in less than a month and a half, and I was told that this was handled by another department. Dear Amerigas Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of service I have received. Firstly, our propane delivery was delayed by two weeks. Despite calling when our tank was at 30%, it was allowed to drop to a critical level of 5% before the delivery arrived.
