Very difficult and long wait times to get anyone on the phone to talk, and when you do, they aren’t the right person, so back on hold you go. Spent hours waiting to change the safety inspection and to complete our account to add autopay. 2 different departments so more waiting. The literal worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. We canceled and went with Blossman. It took 4!!!! Months for Amerigas to finally come pick up their tank after cancellation (customer service is based overseas, not locally). All of this started because they couldn’t refill our tank within 8 weeks of notification, prompting us to search for a local company. This is a one-star view because I can't leave a zero star review. This company has the most inept customer service team located in "Cleveland Ohio". They are supervisorless, yet are unable to give any information. Honestly, if you have any option to use any other company, do yourself a massive favor and take your business anywhere else. I have new construction and called AmeriGas for service. They charged me $250 for a survey to determine where the tank would be placed & the size that I would need. After the survey there was a charge of $580 to install the tank and then I had to also pay to get it filled. I have called three times (1 hr wait) to schedule the installation and the person that answers cannot schedule the install and promises that someone would call me back within 24 hours to schedule..... They promise great service but no follow through. Getting a live person on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE. My service rep started out great then disappeared.
