Ive been a loyal customer of Amerigas for many years. I miss the hands on customer service but I understand. They are quick and efficient. And I appreciate that
Arrived at 9:45 on a Monday morning and it was closed. There was a sign noting that Amerigas was not open for walk-ins.
I am beyond frustrated with Amerigas. This is the second year in a row they have charged us for a tank rental, even though we purchased over 99 gallons, which would waive the tank rental fee. Last year and this year, same experience - I call in and speak with a customer service rep who assures me the bill will be credited, only to wait 2 weeks and no credit. Complete F….. disaster! Ya let’s help make it easier by having a call center where no one speaks good English and they don’t add any of the details to the WO like please call ahead of service so I can be there since I don’t live there. Another great company ruined by the greed of corporate America. Ya god bless this country I like the guys at the local office, nice guys. Understandably I life mistakes happen, But my credit card has not been credited for the $958 worth of propane that was not put in my tank?
In just over a year we've been billed for propane delivery or service we did not receive two times. The process to get those invoices removed from our account has been atrocious and have taken weeks/months. I still don't know if the second incorrect billing has been removed from our account. I would be very willing to spend a lot of money if it meant never having to do business with Amerigas again.
