We've had positive experiences with Amerigas. *********** is responsive. Website is easy to use, best for placing orders. Text messages provided concerning order status. Price is typically lowest in our area.
I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waited on hold for 57 min. then spoke with a young man about removing my tank, he said I have to speak to service and would transfer me. Waited again on hold for over an hour, this is total of over 2 hours then the line disconnected me. Called back and final got a hold of a live person by calling there fill up line. Of course they have people available to talk to someone when it means money for them. There own employees say it is normal to wait over an hour and not get any ... read more
I paid the annual tank rental fee, and just a few days later, the company came and removed the tank without explanation. I called to find out why but couldnt get an answer. I then asked them to close my account and refund my deposit, which they agreed to do.They never issued the refund, and now, a year later, they are billing me again. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone at this company. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
**************** is a nightmare to deal with. They transfer the call and drop the call numerous times and leave you on hold for an hour to 2 hours plus each time. When I asked to speak to a manager I was on hold another 1/2 hour and was given excuses for the long hold times and dropped calls. Stating that they just brought customer service back to the states. AmeriGas filled my tank in 2022 and I used it three times and in the last two years 45% was lost due to a leaky regulator and a faulty valve. They installed a new regulator but did not repair the faulty valve and they have ignored my many request to credit me. I burn wood and have a heat pump. It is too bad the better business is powerless to help me. The worker and representative are courteous, but the corporate office is corrupt! Refuse to do business with them.
**************** is nonexistent! Absolutely terrible company. Clearly they are doing noting to regulate or manage their offices all across the country as evidenced by all of the negative reviews. What kind of company treats their customers this way? I have been on hold waiting almost 3 hours now. The first call was answered 47 minutes after I was on hold and I was disconnected/hung up on and now I am at 45 minutes and counting.
