They deserve no stars. They are committing fraud and after 3 weeks of lies and no responses I am getting ready to file a complaint with the NH Attorney Generals Office. We do not use our propane from mid April to mid November. We shut off our thermostat. I had an actual reading in June showing no usage. In July and August the estimated my usage and are cmcharging me over $100 for each month. Charged for a paper invoice even though I am signed up for electronic billing. Also Charged "a will call convenience fee" even though I ordered through the online app. I received a total of four fees amounting to almost $37. I only get charged the per gallon fee when order from other propane companies
Save yourself and go with a smaller company! Awful service, no way to get in touch with anyone. I was on hold for almost an hour. Smaller companies will come out and help in times of need but Amerigas is 10 days out at all times. Worst company I have ever dealt with. The tank they gave us was also condemned by another company. It was completely rotted and they charged $500 to take it off our property (unannounced and with an unmarked truck, extremely unsettling with young children at home). Most frustrating experience I may have ever had was trying to get someone out to get my heat working. Call center is absolutely useless. Essentially had to tell them I had a massive propane leak to finally get local assistance with a simple solution. Didn’t have heat for 2 weeks because it took so long just to have our tank unlocked after it was filled with propane by them. Local people were nice, call center is a disaster. We switched to Huckleberry it was so bad.
I made 5 phone calls over the course of 3 weeks to get a delivery... total time spent on hold... Dec. 2= 38 minutes; Dec. 3 (2 calls) = 18 & 21 minutes; Dec. 10 = 50 minutes; Dec. 15= 63 minutes. A total of 3 hours & 10 minutes wasted. Then... I get charged $330 for an "inspection" that lasted less than 10 minutes... btw, this is YOUR tank and it's only 9 years old. RIP-OFF! SCAM!
