Terrible customer service, if you go with them they will have you hold all day then schedule you out for a day and they have no communication with the drivers so we got rescheduled but that took awhile to do. It took me three days to get back on their route just to wait another four days. They lie and say they scheduled you and that’s not the case oh and if the driver says they will come back with a smaller truck because it didn’t fit up our road don’t believe them you have to make sure you rescheduled yourself.
Never had a issue until this last October when their driver left the 85% fill valve slightly cracked open. This resulted in a filled tank leaking out slowly over a month. I called it in and they scheduled a new delivery and said I could dispute the invoice once I received it. It been two months of calling in and everything they tell me to call back in 72 hours and they are escalating the matter. Two months and the issue hasn't been resolved yet. Poor costumer service.
For some reason, I ran completely out of propane this month. Since I'm in a handicap that is very bad. I made a couple phone calls and lo and behold the local supervisor called me directly. It's about 1:00 in the afternoon and she said she will have somebody at my house before the days in. Which was kind of shocking. What was even more shocking, was it was completely refilled and done in the next 30 minutes, AND the gentleman ran up my water heater for me also. Great customer service.
The remote monitoring device works very well. When our tank drops to the threshold the system triggers a fill to be scheduled. It’s so nice not to have to check the tank level every month to be sure we don’t get too low
The worst experience dealing with a large scale company like this. The employees are incompetent and they did not refund our credit of $719. If you value your sanity, find an alternative and never deal with Amerigas
