Doc Fisher removed sist from my thumb joint. Very pleasant personally did a terrific job and would highly recommend him.
I have had 3 surgeries with dr. Fischer. Each one was done with care and his team is wonderful as well as the team in his clinic.
I was not treated good.
I broke my humeral bone. He had no bedside manners. I kept complaining about pain. No tests were done except for a follow up xray. The only thing he would observe was ask can you raise your arms above your head...(I couldn't fully) he dismissed it. I went to get a second opinion and had surgery within 2 weeks. My labrum was hanging and torn along with 2 other problems.. worst Dr I've ever been to and didn't care about patients... I'm now dealing with surgery that could have been done months ago.
Dr. Fischer is not very personable. Seems uninterested. Doesn’t ask questions or explain things. Office very hot.
Waited an hour ??and I left wondering what to do to get better on my own because he just told me to stay of ladders and roofs.?
I've seen Dr Fisher twice now (same broken bone injury) - never again. He was cold, uncaring and disinterested. He did no exam or even check my range of motion (although on his 'exam notes' it indicated that he did). He seemed to do the bare minimum. After he said I could start doing exercises, I asked for a printout of some exercises I can do to improve my mobility for my broken bone. He said he had nothing. Seriously? An orthopedist doesn't have this?
I went to see Dr. Fischer over hip pain, and after an x-ray I was told it was arthritis and there was nothing he could do for me. He was insensitive, judgmental and uncaring. I left in tears and found a new Doctor. After therapy and more testing, I am having surgery in a week to repair a labrum tear. This Doctor could not be bothered to see me as anything other than a difficult middle aged woman.
