I recently stayed in a yurt at the Angel of the Winds RV Resort. From my check in to checkout the entire visit was very enjoyable. Every individual staff member I engaged with during my stay was friendly, helpful, and very present. Most places I visit staff seems disconnected and wanting to be somewhere else. It’s my first time writing a review for a campground because I was highly impressed. This is one of the best campgrounds we’ve ever stayed. The amenities are great, the RV spots are widely spaced out, check-in was a breeze, and the pool and the hot tub were a hit for our children. It’s near I-5 but the campground was really quiet. Nicest campground we have experienced. Staff maintains all facilities to a gold standard. Indoor pool/hot tub is awesome and clean. Fair prices in campstore, top notch mini golf, incredible check in staff, cleanest bathrooms/showers/facilities I have ever seen.
Really really well thought out campground Nice people running it, nice amenities, nice wide spaces. The only complaint is that the kids are using the hot tub for a baby pool. No signs to say how dangerous it is for kids to be in that hot of water, and you have to complain to have them enforce the rule of adults only in pool area from 8-10. But they will do it. Other than that great place to park!
We spent 10 days here in June 2025. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the resort is very clean, the sites are nice and spacious with a patio area and picnic table. Our grandkids loved the swimming pool, mini golf (full 18 hole course), and the playground. We will definitely be back!
