So many places would not accept my insurance, then I called LifeStance. Since the first day booking appointments the people working for LifeStance made me feel uplifted. Meeting with Bernard and Angela via Zoom has been something I look forward to and find so helpful. Best mental health professionals I have encountered in 25 years!
This company has to be the worst. How can you plead with someone to help you and all they say is “the hospital should’ve sent you home with enough medication” excuse me?? How do you not care to check up on your patient after they went through such a traumatic event and have 3 little ones on top of it that I have to show up for. Angela isn’t bad but I was extremely suicidal and she didn’t even feel it was urgent enough to make room for me and get me in right away to adjust my medication. I reached out to her and she said “call the office and they can get you in”. Like who the hell says that to their patient who’s struggling that bad? I’m flabbergasted. Whether she’s going through her own health problems or not, she needs to be there for her patients or step down for a while and give her patients to someone who has time to help manage them.
I have been with LIFESTANCE and angela goodson going on my 2nd year with them. In my opinion there is no better place for mental health than life stance. They have are always there for me no matter if I have an appointment or not I always get the help that I need when I need it. Getting my quality of life back is very important and they strive to get there.
